The NBA playoffs started Aug. 17 in Lake Bay, Fla. Due to COVID-19, the playoffs are played in The Bubble this year, which is also known as the “Disney Bubble” or the “Orlando Bubble.”

The Bubble is an isolated zone that consists of living and playing for all personnel involved in this year’s NBA season. Players, families, and coaches live in this bubble and no one unauthorized is allowed in.

Teams can play up to seven games. There are eight teams in the first round for the Eastern Conference and eight teams in the first round for the Western Conference.

The teams from the Eastern Conference that made the playoffs are the Bucks, Raptors, Celtics, Pacers, Heat, 76ers, and Magic. The Western Conference has the Lakers, Clippers, Nuggets, Rockets, Thunder, Jazz, Mavericks, and Trail Blazers.

The Heat, Celtics, Bucks, and Raptors have made it into the semifinals for the Eastern Conference. But Miami and Boston were the two teams to make it into the conference finals. Miami is currently in the lead 2-1.

The Lakers, Rockets, Clippers, and Nuggets have made it into the semifinals for the Western conference. Currently Denver and L.A. Lakers are playing in the conference finals. The Lakers lead the series 2-0.
