The girls JV volleyball team ended the season with an overall record of 30-3, including a 12-0 record and first-place finish in the conference.

“JV finished with 30 wins this season, a great accomplishment and something for them to build off for next season on varsity,” head coach Nicole Diamond said.

The four tournaments that the JV team played in had long days that normally included 4-5 games and could be a lot to handle. But the girls played hard as all four resulted with the Indians bringing home the trophy.

“As we became closer to finishing our season, we knew that we were conference champs and everyone was in a good mood and really enjoyed the season,” sophomore Hannah Casey said.

The loss of impact middle Kendal Franklin in the last few weeks of the season was one last test to see how the team could play together and that the team has the ability to step up when needed.

“One setback was definitely towards the end of the season when Kendal got hurt because she was one of our starters and we had to find someone to start in her place,” sophomore Emma Thomson said.

The season was one the Indians look to keep in mind when the girls move onto the varsity level to finish off their high school careers.
