Minooka boys lose close game to Plainfield Central

The Minooka boys basketball played tough game on Feb. 1 against Plainfield Central. Minooka lost 58-56, but there were a lot of positives from the outcome of the game.

Junior Trent Hudak scored 18 points for Minooka.  

“We played ok,” Hudak said, “but if we could’ve closed it out and made better decisions, we would’ve won the game. Lots of improvement from the beginning of the game.”

Plainfield Central had a strong game also as the Johnson twins both played great basketball like they normally do.

“We just haven’t been playing great defense ,but we will continue to grow and learn as a team,” D’Anthony Thomas, senior, said.
