In a close game, the Minooka boys varsity basketball team lost a  home conference game against Plainfield North  57-54 on Jan. 25.

Minooka was lead by junior point guard Trent Hudak, who had 20 points, three rebounds, and two assists.

“We were down 24-6 in the first, and we came back and only lost by three. This team fights and we can be very successful but there’s some things we need to work on,” Hudak said.

A team that fights is a common belief amongst the players.

“Although we lost we really worked hard throughout the whole game trying to fight to get back into the game,” said junior Jaden Paige.
