On Dec. 7, the Minooka sophomore boys basketball team hosted the Plainfield South Cougars at MCHS South Campus. This was the first home conference win of the season for Minooka, and it was a great home opener.

“We started off with a shaky offense,” Jake Faron, sophomore, said.

The Indians scoring was evenly distributed throughout the starters and a few off of the bench. They put up 48 points against Plainfield South.

“We played good defense throughout the game,” Joey Gould, sophomore, said.

Minooka held the Cougars to only 33 points.

The Indians top three performers were Faron, Gould, and Jordan Boe.
